First Class Metals PLC (LON: FCM) has officially kicked off fieldwork on the Coco East base/precious metal property, marking the beginning of their active field season in Canada. The CEO, Mark S, shared insights on their various projects in a recent interview as operations gear up for exploration.

The company is focusing on several key projects, including the Sunbeam Project where they are reviewing historic core samples to pinpoint new targets. Over a hundred samples are ready for analysis, paving the way for potential discoveries. At the K’s Gold Project, a high-resolution magnetic survey is underway to gain valuable insights into the structure hosting the gold resource, aiding in further exploration plans.

Additionally, the Zigzag Property is in the process of submitting an exploration permit to expand the area of exploration and potential drilling. The Quinland Lithium Property is set for reconnaissance to replicate high lake sediment samples and prospect outcrops. As for the North Hemlo Project, preparations are being made for a stripping program to evaluate gold mineralization across different locations, with a focus on a potential drill program.

During the interview, Mark highlighted the emphasis on gold projects, particularly the North Hemlo Project, while also ensuring that other properties meet assessment and agreement requirements. The discovery of an old Adit during fieldwork on the Coco East Project has sparked excitement over potential mineralization.
