The Sheppard Lake Uranium Project is located near the Athabasca Basin’s lip and spans approximately 2,250 hectares, connecting with Bedford’s existing Ubiquity Lake Project. The project area is known for its basement-hosted uranium mineralization, making it a prime target for exploration.
Bedford’s main exploration target at Sheppard Lake is a 4km northwest-trending electromagnetic conductor intersecting the Cable Bay Shear Zone, a promising sign for potential uranium discovery. The company is gearing up for a comprehensive exploration program to further uncover the region’s high-potential uranium deposits.
With a history of significant uranium finds in northern Saskatchewan, the Sheppard Lake property holds immense promise for Bedford Metals. The company is currently reviewing its summer exploration plans to incorporate the new acquisition.
