82.91 Metres of 13.81% Cg Intersected at Lac Tétépisca Project in Quebec by Focus Graphite

Focus Graphite Inc., a leading exploration company, has announced that all seven deep definition holes drilled along the strike of the MOGC deposit have intersected significant graphitic mineralization. These results are from the 2022 exploration and definition drill program at its Manicouagan-Ouest Graphitic Corridor (MOGC) flake graphite deposit.

The results show significant mineralization with a graphitic carbon grading of at least 5.0% over 6.0 meters true thickness. This mineralization has been found at depths ranging from 160 to 300 meters along a 950-meter strike length of the MOGC deposit. Marc Roy, the President and CEO of Focus Graphite, highlighted the excellent continuity of the mineralization at depth and the potential for further expansion of the deposit.

The MOGC flake graphite deposit is part of Focus Graphite’s Lac Tétépisca project in Quebec. The deposit has both Indicated and Inferred resources of natural flake graphite, making it one of the most significant discoveries in Quebec. The mineral resource estimate for the MOGC deposit was detailed in the NI 43-101 Technical Report, prepared by DRA Americas Inc.

The 2022 exploration and definition drill program included over 14,900 meters of core drilling with the main objectives of converting Inferred mineral resources to the Indicated category and identifying new satellite graphite deposits within a 5 km radius of the MOGC deposit. The results from the deep definition holes and exploration holes have shown promising signs of significant graphite mineralization.

With these findings, Focus Graphite is moving closer to delivering an updated mineral resource estimate for its Lac Tétépisca project. The company continues to focus on exploration and development activities to unlock the full potential of the MOGC deposit and further enhance its position in the graphite market.
