Major Graphite Deposit Discovered in Québec | Latest Mining Findings Revealed | July 16, 2024

Graphano Energy (TSXV:GEL) has made a game-changing discovery of high-grade graphite at its Standard East claim group in Québec. The miner unveiled this exciting find, known as “The Black Pearl,” on a recently acquired area that has already shown promising results.

A total of 42 channel samples were collected, with an average of 13.2 per cent graphitic carbon (Cg) content. Notable results include 15.1 per cent Cg over 14 metres and 17.9 per cent Cg over 9 metres. This discovery has sparked optimism for the site’s potential, with preliminary exploration and drilling unveiling significant grades and thicknesses of graphite mineralization.

The Black Pearl graphite trend stretches over 1,000 metres and shows potential for further extension. Situated strategically between Graphano’s advanced Standard Mine project and the Mousseau Project, the claims occupy a prime location. The miner holds a dominant land position with 42.6 square kilometres of fully owned mining claims in the area.

Geophysical electromagnetic surveys covering 8.4 km have successfully identified a broad conductive corridor with multiple anomalies extending over 800 meters in the initial discovery area. The graphite mineralization is hosted within a sequence of paragneiss, marble, and quartzites, as revealed by geological mapping.

Graphano Energy’s CEO, Luisa Moreno, expressed excitement over the Black Pearl discovery, emphasizing its potential to enhance Mineral Resource growth objectives. As the demand for graphite rises due to its crucial role in battery production for electric vehicles and renewable energy storage, this discovery represents a significant development for the company.

Graphano Energy Ltd. (TSXV:GEL) last traded at $0.10 per share. Stay tuned for further updates on this burgeoning graphite discovery that could position Graphano as a leading graphite producer.
