This collaboration aims to revolutionize energy storage solutions in industrial, military, and marine markets with advanced LTO technology.
GUS Technology is renowned for its cutting-edge research and production of LTO battery cells, making it an ideal partner for Energy Plug. The two companies plan to localize LTO battery units for deployment in various sectors, including marine applications.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), GUS TECH will supply LTO cells for diverse Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) applications, while Energy Plug will focus on securing customers and managing logistics. The collaboration will also involve joint research and development projects to drive innovation in energy storage solutions.
One of the key advantages of LTO batteries is their longer life cycle, with up to 20,000 charge-discharge cycles, reducing the need for frequent replacements and lowering costs. Additionally, LTO batteries exhibit superior safety features compared to other battery types, making them ideal for heavy-duty sectors.
