North Bay Resources Validates Presence of Nickel-Cobalt Deposit at Tulameen Platinum Project

North Bay Resources CEO Jared Lazerson recently shared exciting news about the latest exploration results at the Tulameen Platinum Project in British Columbia. The company’s assays from recent exploration efforts have revealed a significant discovery – a magnesium-hosted nickel-cobalt deposit with additional copper and platinum group metals.

Lazerson explained that the Tulameen property is renowned for its large magnesium deposit, primarily consisting of olivine within a dunite core. Historical exploration from the 1980s estimated the presence of 15,000,000 tons of dunite in a single zone, mainly in the form of olivine. Additionally, four more zones have been identified on the property, indicating substantial mineralization potential.

This discovery is a major milestone for North Bay Resources as it confirms the presence of a multi-metal deposit, including valuable nickel, cobalt, and platinum group metals. The addition of platinum group metals further highlights the project’s potential as a significant source of critical minerals.

The positive assay results support the company’s strategic focus on advancing the Tulameen Platinum Project. The presence of high-value minerals like nickel, cobalt, and platinum group metals aligns with global demand for these resources, especially in battery technology, electric vehicles, and industrial applications.

Moving forward, North Bay Resources plans to conduct further exploration and development activities, including detailed geological mapping, additional sampling, and possible drilling to define a resource estimate. The combination of historical data and recent assay results provides a solid foundation for future work on this promising project.
