Brixton Metals Commences Drilling at Cirque Copper Porphyry Target

Brixton Metals Corporation, a Canadian exploration company, has kicked off its inaugural drill program at the Cirque Copper Porphyry Target on the Thorn Project in British Columbia. The target, situated 3km east of the Camp Creek Porphyry discovery, is a multi-kilometer copper porphyry area with surface exposures of copper mineralization over a 1km by 2km zone.

The Cirque Copper Target is characterized by elevated copper, molybdenum, and MDRU’s Porphyry Index anomalies, supported by a large magnetic and conductivity geophysical anomaly. VP of Exploration, Christina Anstey, expressed excitement over the launch of the drill campaign, citing the area’s proximity to favorable mineralized intrusions as particularly promising.

The target area features copper mineralization in various forms, including chalcopyrite veins and disseminated mineralization. Geochemical analysis and geophysical data support the presence of a potential Cu-Mo porphyry system at Cirque that remains untested.

Historic drilling in the area by Julian Mining in 1965 intercepted sporadic copper mineralization, with some core samples containing disseminated and vein-hosted chalcopyrite. The current drill program aims to further explore the potential of the Cirque Copper Target and expand the understanding of the mineralization in the area.

Brixton Metals Corporation is focused on advancing its mining projects, with the Thorn Project being its flagship copper-gold-silver-molybdenum project. The company trades on the TSX-V and OTCQB stock exchanges and is committed to driving exploration and development in the resource sector.
