Standard Uranium Encounters Unusual Levels of Radioactivity

Standard Uranium Ltd. has completed their inaugural drilling activities at the Atlantic Project in the eastern Athabasca Basin of northern Saskatchewan, Canada, with promising results. The Company reported anomalous radioactivity in all five drill holes, indicating a fertile uranium system. The drilling intersected multiple zones of elevated radioactivity in both the sandstone and basement, confirming the presence of a high-grade unconformity-related uranium mineralization.

Sean Hillacre, VP of Exploration at Standard Uranium, expressed optimism about the results, stating that the structural framework on the property is highly prospective for high-grade uranium deposits. Neil McCallum, director of Standard Uranium and Atco Mining, emphasized the significance of the findings and mentioned plans for further exploration on the Project.

The Atlantic Project, currently under option to ATCO Mining Inc., holds significant potential for future discoveries, with additional target areas identified for phase II and III drilling. The Company’s exploration model has been strengthened by the results of the inaugural drill program, highlighting the presence of a uranium-fertile system.

Core samples from the drilling program have been sent for geochemical assay at the Saskatchewan Research Council Geoanalytical Laboratory in Saskatoon. Results are expected to provide further insights into the mineralization and structure of the Project.

Standard Uranium is a uranium exploration company focused on discovering uranium deposits in the Athabasca Basin. With multiple projects in the region, the Company is dedicated to finding the fuel for a clean energy future. The success of the inaugural drilling program at the Atlantic Project is a positive step towards achieving this goal.
