The Accredited Gemologists Association (AGA) is hosting an exciting virtual conference for all diamond and jewelry enthusiasts. Titled “Diamonds from All Angles”, this half-day educational event will take place on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm (EDT).
The conference will feature four renowned experts in the diamond industry who will cover a variety of topics. Sally Magana, PhD, GIA GG, will dive into the world of laboratory-grown diamonds and explore the different colors and treatment mechanisms in her presentation “The Synthetic Rainbow: Color in Laboratory-Grown Diamonds”. Paul Ziminsky, CFA, will provide an overview of the current diamond market conditions, while Sara Yood, JD, will discuss the ever-changing landscape of Russia sanctions and how businesses can ensure compliance. Additionally, Brian Denney, FGA, DGA, ICGA, GIA GG, will share his expertise on grading fancy color diamonds.
