Hackney Diamonds by The Rolling Stones returns to the setlist in a triumphant comeback

The Rolling Stones brought back their hit song “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” to their 2024 “Hackney Diamonds” tour setlist after a three-show hiatus, much to the delight of fans. The decision to remove the song had caused concern among fans when Mick Jagger took an extended mid-set break and dropped it from the encore.

During their show at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, the Stones performed a tour-high 20 songs, with Keith Richards also taking the mic for three songs. The setlist saw some changes, with the return of “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” alongside fan favorites like “Wild Horses” and “Gimme Shelter.”

The “Hackney Diamonds” tour is in support of the Rolling Stones’ twenty-fourth studio album of the same name, marking their first album of original music since 2005. The album features collaborations with music icons like Elton John, Lady Gaga, and Paul McCartney.

Fans can expect an electrifying show filled with classic hits and new tracks as the Stones continue to rock stages across North America. The tour will conclude in Ridgedale, Missouri on July 21, promising to be a memorable experience for all who attend.

With Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood leading the charge, backed by a talented lineup of musicians, the “Hackney Diamonds” tour is set to be a must-see event for music lovers everywhere.
