InnovSeed’s DiaBot NX has the potential to completely transform the way rough diamond traceability is managed

InnovSeed, a diamond innovation company based in Surat, India, has just unveiled its latest robotic solution for rough assortment and traceability – the DiaBot NX. This cutting-edge technology, powered by advanced AI and robotics, is revolutionizing the way rough diamonds are sorted and tracked in the industry.

The DiaBot NX boasts an impressive sorting rate of just 3.7 seconds per stone, more than five times faster than its predecessor. Not only does it sort rough diamonds based on color, weight, shape, and fluorescence, but it also captures a rough fingerprint, generates a 3D model, and takes 360-degree photos and videos – all without human intervention.

Mayur Chovatiya, CEO of InnovSeed, expressed the company’s commitment to raising operational efficiency and traceability standards with this new technology. “We not only elevate operational efficiency but we also raise traceability standards, empowering stakeholders with confidence and transparency,” he said.

Users like Vipul Sutariya, a sightholder, have praised the DiaBot NX for its real-time matching capabilities and instantaneous processing. The technology not only optimizes production workflows but also enables swift decision-making and real-time resource allocation.

InnovSeed has also successfully integrated its DiaBot technology with Tracr, the traceability platform developed by De Beers, as well as with Everledger, a blockchain-based traceability platform. This integration allows for the capture of rough diamond data at scale and enhances traceability in the diamond industry.

With its focus on harnessing the power of AI and robotics to develop innovative solutions for diamond manufacturers, InnovSeed is at the forefront of technological advancements in the industry. The DiaBot NX is just the latest example of how the company is transforming operations for mines, tender houses, and manufacturers worldwide.
