Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan recently shared some inside details of the extravagant pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar. Speaking to Midday, Sara joked about the lavish affair, saying, “They served us gold with roti. Like with our roti we would eat gold. And there were diamonds everywhere.”
Despite the opulent setting, Sara emphasized the warmth and hospitality of the Ambani family, whom she has known for years. She recalled fond memories from the event, particularly the moment when Anant and Radhika signed the hastakshar paper, sharing a loving look with each other.
The Love Aaj Kal 2 actor also highlighted the more human moments of the celebration, mentioning Nita Ambani’s graceful Bharatnatyam performance for Anant, filled with emotion and grace.
Sara also shared details about her stay at Green Retreat during the festivities, enjoying Subko coffee but refraining from indulging too much due to promotional commitments.
The Ambani pre-wedding bash featured performances by top artists like Rihanna, Akon, and Arijit Singh, with another extravagant celebration on a luxury cruise later on. Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan gears up for her next project, an action-comedy film opposite Ayushmann Khurrana, co-produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment.
