Update on Ongoing Metallurgical Tests Provided by Emerita

Emerita Resources Corp. has recently provided an update on their ongoing metallurgical testing program for the Iberian Belt West project. The preliminary results indicate that commercial grade concentrates can be produced from the project using traditional methods at recoveries similar to other operations in the Iberian Pyrite Belt.

CEO David Gower expressed satisfaction with the results, highlighting the importance of achieving optimal results in developing polymetallic deposits. The addition of Jorge A. Blanco as Director of Metallurgy has had a positive impact on the project, with plans to evaluate innovative hydrometallurgical processes in future tests.

Test results indicate promising grades and recoveries for zinc concentrates, as well as copper concentrates with gold and silver contents. The potential to produce a Pb/Cu semi-bulk concentrate also shows promise for increasing payable lead in concentrate and improving copper recoveries.

The metallurgical test program was overseen by Wardell Armstrong International Laboratories and SRK Consulting to ensure the highest standard of testing. The primary objective was to gather data on processing characteristics of material from the La Romanera and La Infanta deposits for future economic evaluation.

With initial results showing positive outcomes, Emerita Resources Corp. is optimistic about the potential of the Iberian Belt West project. The company continues to focus on advancing the project towards a production decision, with forthcoming results from locked cycle tests expected to further improve upon the current findings.
