Huston expressed his excitement about having Smith join the team, highlighting his expertise in the mining industry and large-scale operations in the United States. Smith brings a wealth of experience to the role, having been involved in various aspects of mining operations, including export, marketing, legal affairs, and environmental protection.
In his new role, Smith is eager to work with the Graphite One team on developing the Graphite Creek project, which is considered a world-class resource. His extensive experience in the coal industry, both in Canada and the United States, will undoubtedly be valuable in driving the project forward.
Huston, with a background in business development and finance, has also played a crucial role in raising funds for various companies throughout his career. His expertise will complement Smith’s in the development of the Graphite Creek project.
The company also announced the resignation of Charles Chebry as CEO, Chairman of the Board, and director, thanking him for his contributions. Graphite One Resources Inc. is focused on exploring and developing the Graphite Creek Project, which is said to be the USA’s only advanced staged large-scale, large flake graphite deposit.
