Positive New Discoveries at Brunton Pass Boost Tertiary Minerals

Tertiary Minerals Unveils Promising Survey Results at Brunton Pass Copper-Gold Project

In a recent geophysical survey conducted at its Brunton Pass Copper-Gold Project in Nevada, Tertiary Minerals revealed optimistic findings that have sparked excitement in the mining community.

The survey, which utilized induced polarisation (IP) and resistivity techniques, covered 7.2 line-kilometres across four lines, highlighting a coherent electrical chargeability anomaly indicative of sulphide mineralisation. This anomaly, potentially rich in copper or gold, was consistently observed across all IP survey lines.

Of particular significance was the correlation between the chargeability anomaly and previously identified geological features, including copper-mercury-arsenic soil anomalies, altered zones in trenches displaying heightened levels of pathfinder elements, and gold-bearing zones. The resistivity variations seen in the survey also aligned with surface geology, aiding in the identification of subsurface structures.

The identified chargeability anomaly has been designated as a high-priority drill target for potential epithermal gold or porphyry copper mineralisation. Tertiary Minerals plans to schedule drilling activities as budgets permit, aligning with its broader exploration strategy, including activities in Zambia.

Executive chairman Patrick Cheetham expressed his excitement about the survey results, emphasizing the potential for a significant discovery at the Brunton Pass site. While the company is actively exploring copper projects in Zambia, the positive findings in Nevada have added to the company’s momentum.

Shares in Tertiary Minerals rose by 4.86% following the announcement, reflecting the market’s positive response to the promising survey results. As the company continues its exploration efforts, investors are keeping a close eye on the potential for a major discovery at the Brunton Pass Copper-Gold Project.
