Appia Rare Earths & Uranium Reports Promising Desorption Findings in Brazilian Ionic Adsorption Clay Rare Earth Deposit_TARGET IV

Appia Rare Earths & Uranium Corp. has recently announced the latest desorption test results for rare earth elements (REE) from the Target IV Ionic Adsorption Clay deposit at the PCH project in Goias, Brazil. The results confirmed high recoveries of Magnet Rare Earth Oxides (MREO) and Heavy Rare Earth Oxides (HREO) from the samples collected from 17 Reverse Circulation (RC) drillholes.

The President of the company, Stephen Burega, expressed enthusiasm over the results, stating that the significant size of the mineralized area, high grades, good recoveries, and rapid desorption confirm the potential of the deposit to become a world-class project. The desorption tests revealed recoveries up to 81.67% for Nd+Pr and 67.18% for HREO in specific drillholes.

Furthermore, the desorption results from the main mineralized zone showed impressive recovery rates for various rare earth elements like NdPr and TbDy. The company’s upcoming work programs include ongoing auger drilling and desorption testing on newly identified targets, as well as planning for the development of a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) of Target IV and the Buriti Zones.

VP of Exploration for Brazil, Andre Costa, highlighted the comprehensive desorption testing method that provides a clear ‘signature’ for the IAC mineralization. The Company’s focus remains on delineating high-grade critical rare earth elements and uranium deposits across different properties.

Overall, the news of the successful desorption test results from the rare earth elements at the PCH project in Brazil showcases the potential for significant mineralization and further exploration opportunities in the region.
