Gold Mountain preparing to drill targets for rare earths in Brazil

Gold Mountain has identified new drill targets at its Down Under project in Brazil, showing promising signs of high-grade rare earths mineralization. The company’s extensive scout stream sediment sampling and radiometric surveying have revealed a strong potential for rare earths-niobium-uranium-scandium mineralization.

Of the 800 stream sediment samples collected, 25 percent of the results have been returned, with 61 samples showing promising results. Management is optimistic about finding more targets from the remaining 75 percent of outstanding assays in the laboratory.

The radiometric surveying has outlined anomalous responses along traverse widths of up to 1600m, indicating thick lateritic weathering profiles associated with potential mineralization.

Gold Mountain plans to conduct shallow auger drilling totaling up to 3220m to confirm the identified targets. The drilling will focus on anomalous catchments and radiometric anomalies in specific areas of interest.

The company is also planning additional auger drilling to investigate strong rare earths geochemical results in certain areas of the project. Preliminary metallurgical testing will be conducted to determine the nature of the mineralization.

The Down Under project is located close to Brazilian Rare Earths’ deposit, where similar rare earths mineralization has been identified. The high-priority drill targets identified by Gold Mountain suggest the potential for significant discoveries in the near future.

With ongoing exploration and drilling activities planned, Gold Mountain is positioning itself to capitalize on the growing demand for rare earth minerals. Investors and stakeholders will be eagerly watching as the company continues to uncover the potential of its Down Under project in Brazil.
