Gold Discovery at Tuvatu Mine in Fiji: Lion One Uncovers 3.3 meters of 97.46 g/t Gold

Lion One Metals Limited, a mining company based in North Vancouver, British Columbia, has announced significant new high-grade gold results from its Tuvatu Alkaline Gold Project in Fiji. The company reported bonanza grade gold assays, including results such as 750.05 g/t, 315.46 g/t, and 167.55 g/t. These results were obtained from drilling in the Zone 5 area of the project, which is targeted for mining in the next 12 months.

The headline intercept of 97.46 g/t gold over 3.3 m is currently being developed for extraction. Previous drill results from the Zone 5 area have also shown promising grades. The area targeted for mining includes the UR2 and URW3 lodes, which are steeply dipping structures that converge at depth to form Zone 500, the highest-grade part of the deposit.

The purpose of the current drilling program is to enhance the mine model and inform stope design for the upcoming mining activities. The results from the Zone 5 drilling are a positive sign for Lion One Metals Limited as they continue to explore and develop their gold project in Fiji.
