This Nissan GT-R Covered in 24-Carat Gold Has Been on the Market for Years with No Takers

The world’s only Nissan GT-R covered in 24-carat gold has been on display in a showroom in Dubai for years, with a price tag that has plummeted from $1 million to $435,600. This luxurious model, unveiled in 2016, features a unique custom body kit with a gold chrome finish and a stunning alligator skin pattern.

Despite its extravagant appearance and impressive 1,500 horsepower engine, the gold GT-R is struggling to find a buyer. The car, with only 6,000 kilometers on the odometer, remains unsold despite its online popularity and social media hype.

Inside, the gold theme continues with gold-plated elements on the center console and interior door handles. The car also boasts aftermarket wheels, a massive rear wing, and custom titanium exhaust, making it a standout in the automotive world.

While the gold Nissan GT-R may be struggling to find a new owner, it is not the only gold-plated car to make headlines. The 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air, known for its iconic gold plating, remains the world’s most famous gold car. Despite the original GM models being lost to time, a replica built by experts continues to wow crowds at events like the 2024 Autorama in Detroit.

As the search for a buyer for the extravagant gold Nissan GT-R continues, the automotive world remains captivated by the opulent display of luxury and craftsmanship showcased in these rare golden vehicles.
