Generation Mining expands Biiwobik Zone by 150 meters, finds 8.0 meters of 3.06% CuEq 350 meters north of Marathon Deposit

Gen Mining has recently announced the positive results from the first phase of drilling at the Biiwobik prospect, located north of the Marathon palladium-copper deposit in Northwestern Ontario. The company has plans for a multi-phased exploration program targeting copper dominant and higher-grade palladium group metals prospects within its 26,000 hectare land package.

The initial phase of drilling yielded encouraging results, with significant intercepts such as 8.0 meters of 0.85% copper, 2.48 g/t palladium, 0.57 g/t platinum, and 0.22 g/t gold in hole MB-24-058. Other holes, like MB-24-059, also intersected mineralization with promising grades. These results mark a substantial step-out from previous drilling and indicate potential for extending the current pit included in the Feasibility Study into this area, potentially increasing mine life and average copper grade.

The drilling at the Biiwobik zone extends the mineralization approximately 450 meters north of the Marathon deposit Mineral Resource and confirms open zones to the north and at depth. The higher copper mineralization zones identified in these results showcase the potential for additional inferred mineral resources with further drilling success.

As part of the ongoing exploration program, a geophysical surveying crew is currently in place to complete borehole electromagnetic surveys to target zones of high-grade mineralization at depth in the next phase of drilling at Biiwobik. With the continued success of the exploration program, Gen Mining is confident in its ability to better understand and potentially extend the northern extension of the deposit.
