PGI India Unveils 7th Edition of Platinum Buyer-Seller Meet Emphasizing Innovation and Category Expansion in Business News

Vaishali Banerjee, Managing Director of Platinum Guild International (PGI) in India, has announced the upcoming 7th edition of the Platinum Buyer-Seller Meet, set to take place on July 4th and 5th, 2024. This prestigious event will bring together 16 official platinum jewellery manufacturers and top names in the retail jewellery business, all under the PGI program.

Known for its emphasis on design and innovation, the Platinum Buyer-Seller Meet serves as a premier platform for PGI partners to expand their platinum business. This year’s edition will focus on driving long-term demand for platinum jewellery and strengthening partnerships, both existing and new. The event will showcase impactful marketing programs for PGI’s flagship branded categories – Platinum Love Bands, Platinum Evara, and Men of Platinum.

Vaishali Banerjee expressed excitement for the upcoming event, stating, “This event was conceptualized to work with our partners for the growth and expansion of platinum jewellery in the country. This year, our aim is to focus on building a robust future for platinum jewellery. Innovation is at the heart of this year’s BSM. Both in product and marketing.”

Industry leaders such as Rajesh Kalyanaraman, Dipu Mehta, Suvankar Sen, Avinash Pahuja, Colin Shah, Madhu Jethwani Dhabuwala, Nirmal Rawal, and others also shared their enthusiasm for the upcoming meet, highlighting the importance of the event in showcasing new designs, innovations, and business opportunities.

The 2023 Platinum Buyer-Seller Meet saw a tremendous response, boosting platinum jewellery sales during the wedding and festive season. PGI aims to develop the global platinum jewellery market as a new demand source for platinum through consumer and trade-facing programs in key markets like China, India, Japan, and the USA.
