Polish heavy metal band Crystal Viper is set to release their new studio album, The Silver Key, on June 28 via Listenable Records. The album will be available in various formats including vinyl, CD, cassette, and digitally. Fans can now pre-order the album on the Listenable Records website.
The band has already released a video for the title track, “The Silver Key,” which showcases their epic sound and pays homage to metal legends like Ronnie James Dio and Black Sabbath. The album features lyrics inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft, continuing the band’s theme from their previous album, The Cult.
The Silver Key promises to be the band’s most intense release yet, with a heavier, faster, and darker sound that stays true to their pure heavy metal roots. Crystal Viper’s unique approach to songwriting and production sets them apart, incorporating elements from different metal subgenres while paying homage to classic acts like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest.
The album was produced and mastered by heavy metal veteran Bart Gabriel, with artwork by Mario Lopez. In addition to original tracks, the CD and vinyl versions will include bonus covers of Bathory and Misfits songs. The band will embark on a European headlining tour to promote the album, with US metal act Savage Master joining them for select dates.
Fans can catch Crystal Viper on tour starting in September, with dates across Poland, Germany, Austria, Denmark, and more. The band, led by vocalist and bassist Marta Gabriel, promises a high-energy show that celebrates the best of metal music.
